Colorado Women’s Education Foundation

Colorado Women’s Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to Colorado women age 25 years and older. These women, usually single, have been widowed, abandoned, or divorced, and may suddenly find themselves struggling to support themselves and their families. They realize that education is the key to becoming economically self-sufficient, and often times they are the first in their extended family to attend college. Since they are older, they are forgotten and excluded by other scholarship programs. Our nonprofit organization depends completely on donations and wants to do more to empower these women of Colorado – who want to transform themselves, their families and the future of our communities!
